Your Second Visit to Our Mountain Island Lake Practice

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

Upon arrival for your Report of Findings visit, our front desk Chiropractic Assistant will greet you and put you on the proper therapy as instructed by the doctor. Once therapy is completed, your doctor will spend time going over your x-rays and examination results with you.

Your doctor will answer for you what exactly is wrong, how chiropractic care can help and how long we anticipate your treatment plan being.

On this visit, we will also cover exactly what you can expect in terms of treatment in our office, what you can do at home to help yourself heal more quickly, as well as financial consultations. Additional consultations for nutrition, acupuncture, or orthotics might also be set up according to your needs. The second visit may last up to 45 minutes.

This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Reduces the length of your first visit
  • Gives us time to correlate our findings
  • Avoids overloading you with too much information

Dr. Darcey Asks some important questions of interest to Mountain Island Lake residents - Chiropractor Mountain Island Lake Dr. Darcey Asks...

How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
