Dr. Cressie Simoneau Your Mountain Island Chiropractor
For years Dr. Cressie Simoneau watched her mother suffer with severe migraine headaches. It was not until her uncle gave her mother regular chiropractic adjustments did her mother find relief to decrease the migraines in severity and frequency.
She developed an interest in natural approaches to healthcare at an early age after watching her family line up to receive chiropractic adjustments by her uncle. Dr. Cressie learned that natural healthcare was the approach to achieving good health.
Dr. Simoneau attended Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. As a student, she was awarded the instructional positions of Teaching Assistant and Clinician’s Assistant. Both positions inspired her, professionally and personally. In these positions, she was able to model what she had learned as she taught underclassmen. On graduation, Dr. Simoneau received the Logan College of Chiropractic Diversified Technique Award from the Chiropractic Science Division for exceptional level of understanding and proficiency applying Diversified Technique.
In her general chiropractic practice caring for infants through the elderly, Dr. Simoneau concentrates on whole body healing. Dr. Cressie’s approach to treatment is to find the underlying cause of the problem, keeping her patient’s best interest in mind. She not only treats the symptoms, but also works with her patients to prevent problems from occurring in the future. Each treatment program is designed specifically for the individual.
When Dr. Simoneau is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Kyba. When she is not loving on her dog or traveling to see her family, she enjoys trying new restaurants with her friends.
Dr. Cressie Simoneau was an avid volleyball player and dancer growing up. She was a member of the 1995 and 1997 4A Kansas State Champion Volleyball Teams and was a member of the Dance Team for Kansas Cagerz Semi-Professional Basketball Team. Growing up with a strong sports background was a natural fit for her work as a personal trainer through her college years. She exercises regularly and encourages her patients to do the same.
